School Uniform

School Uniform:

School uniform gives us  sense of identity and belonging. Our children's uniform is made up of:

Grey trousers, skirt or pinafore

White/red Polo shirt

Pillar box red jumper, sweatshirt or cardigan

Gingham school dresses  can be worn between Easter and October Half Term and

Black school shoes (no trainers).

We have our own red Lockwood Primary School sweatshirts, fleece jackets and polo shirts; these can be purchased at the school office.

For indoor PE lessons, children need black PE shorts and a white t-shirt with plimsoles.

For outdoor games and PE our children wear:

Black/Dark grey jogging bottoms (NOT leggings) and top with  a white T-shirt and trainers.

Jewellery/Watches/Personal Property

Jewellery can be dangerous and so for safety reasons children should not wear it to school except for small stud earrings if absolutely necessary. These must not be worn on days when the children have PE or Swimming.

Watches (NOT Smart Watches for safeguarding reasons) may be worn but must be removed for PE and Swimming.

Teachers and Teaching Assistants cannot take responsibility for looking after watches during PE and Swimming lessons.
